Joel Aronson, CPA, PFS
Joel is the Founder and Managing Member of AAFCPAs Wealth Management. He has provided objective tax optimization, financial planning, and wealth advisory services since 1975. He serves as a key financial resource for nonprofits, foundations, closely-held businesses, their owners, and high-net-worth individuals and families, developing personalized financial plans and cogent institutional investment strategies.
Joel is a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), a licensed investment advisor, as well as a CPA. He specializes in providing holistic wealth management services that enable clients to reach investment goals and control risks, with a full consideration for tax implications. He advises investors on how to carefully weigh the near-term outlook with their long-term goals and objectives while maintaining an appropriate focus on their investment time horizon, capital preservation, liquidity needs, tax implications, and risk tolerance.
Joel is committed to educating his clients and continual self-development. Through AAFCPAs Wealth Management, and since 1975 as a partner at AAFCPAs, he has been offering clients objective financial planning and advisory services, and he is nationally recognized for his operational advice for nonprofit organizations. Joel happily shares his expertise pro bono through lecturing or speaking at industry groups and nonprofit events that ultimately enrich our community. He currently contributes his financial expertise as a trustee for World Unity, Inc. and as an advisory board member of Executive Service Corps of New England. He is a past treasurer and board member and a current volunteer for Project Bread – the Walk for Hunger.
Joel grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and now lives in Southborough, Massachusetts. He and his wife have two sons and two grandchildren. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with Honors from Northeastern University and a Master’s degree with Highest Honors from Babson College. He is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council, the American Institute of CPAs, and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
